Blake's entrepreneurial ambitions began while he was a freshman at Texas Christian University. In his first year of college, Blake saw the opportunity to provide property management services to local TCU area property owners and assist students in locating off-campus housing. During the same year Blake raised approximately $100,000 through a fraternity brother to begin buying and selling houses in the TCU area. In his early years at TCU, Blake grew the property management portion of his business to include the management of several hundred units in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. Throughout college, Blake's real estate endeavors included: building small multi-family projects, selling properties to out of state investors, buying and selling college rental properties, residential brokerage, etc. While a junior in 2005, Blake was named the Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year. By the time Blake graduated in 2007 with a triple major in Entrepreneurial Management, Finance, and Accounting, Blake Venture Corp grew to employ over 10 people, was generating millions of dollars in revenue, and had ventured into oil & gas, alternative energy, and several different real estate asset classes.

Today, through Blake Venture Corp, Blake spends his time managing BVC's investments/ portfolio companies and is constantly seeking new opportunities.
